Most irrigation systems water only based on time, but what if you have a limited water source? What if you are restricted by a water license? How can you garuntee the delivery of just the right moisture?
Introducing Water Roster volume based irrigation. With integrated water metering function each zone can be set to water based on time, volume or even BOTH!
Let's say you have a 220,000L rain water tank and need it to last the month. With 3 days of watering per week across 3 zones and assuming you need to leave a reserve of 20,000L that's ~800 litres per watering (assuming 28 days in the month).

Traditional watering systems operate on time — turn the water on for 30 minutes and assume the required amount has been delivered. The problem with this is that flow rates can change with tank levels, pump performance, pressure, pipe restrictions and the number of sprinklers or outlets operating. That means the same 30-minute watering cycle can deliver significantly different amounts of water from one day to the next.
WaterRoster takes a different approach:- set the amount of water you want to use, and let the system manage the watering until that volume has been delivered. By measuring actual water usage rather than simply counting minutes, you have greater control over where your water is going and how much is being used. This is particularly valuable where water availability is limited, where you need to work within a water licence or allocation, or where consistent application rates matter. Whether you have 5 or 5 million litres available, WaterRoster helps you use the water you have — without relying on estimates or constantly adjusting watering times to compensate for changing conditions.
